Virtual restoration of a mayan ceramic vessel from the Underworld

Fortuitous find of a Late Classic Mayan vessel in the archaeological survey of a cave in the Low Usumacinta Zone, Tabasco, Mexico. A vessel in excellent condition was found in an antechamber that was difficult to access. Without altering the context, I carried out - expressly and with disadvantages - a photogrammetric survey to obtain a 3D model good enough and scaled to make the virtual restoration that I present below.
The 3D scan delivered data of colour and ceramic slip so I could proceed with a 3D texture as realistic as possible. Also, provided enough data to restore the morphology of the vessel.
The purpose of this 3D resource is to disseminate the protection and conservation of Natural and Cultural Heritage
